Michael Andretti shares his views on the future course of talks with the FIA immediately after the announcement of the collaboration between Andretti Global and Cadillac. Indeed, the American says he has fulfilled the FIA 's latest condition.

Andretti is still not officially admitted to Formula 1 as an 11th team, but is still fighting hard to make his dream come true. With Cadillac by his side, Andretti not only has more clout but has also directly answered an important question from the FIA. Racer.com quotes the American: "One of the big things was: what does Andretti bring to the party? Well, we are bringing one of the biggest car manufacturers in the world with General Motors and Cadillac."

Andretti glows with confidence

Although the FIA warned that Andretti's partnership with Cadillac offers no guarantees, the American immediately seems a lot more confident: "We see it this way, that the last demand we couldn't meet we are meeting now. I think it will bring a huge amount of support to F1. And it's hard for anyone to argue that now."

Andretti almost firmly believes that his team will be on the F1 grid. Having been asked by FIA president Mohammed Ben Sulayem to map out which parties are all interested in forming an F1 team, things can hardly go wrong for Andretti: "We have a very, very, very good chance of meeting all the conditions and being on the grid soon."
