Max Verstappen leaves Abu Dhabi feeling positive after taking part in Pirelli's tyre test. However, the Red Bull Racing driver admits it is difficult to draw conclusions from the data collected from the test day.
Verstappen and Red Bull were able to do what was planned and the team can work on the data it has collected. "We completed our programme and got a first, basic understanding for next year, which I think worked out well," Verstappen said in a Red Bull Racing press release.

However, the Dutchman stressed that it is difficult to draw conclusions from the session run. "It's always nice, when you have the final compound construction, to get a few laps in but at each track the tyres behave differently, so it’s difficult to judge," he continued.
The two-time world champion ended the session feeling positive. "Having said that, it's always better to have something rather than nothing. Overall, everything behaved quite normally, so it was a good day," Verstappen concluded.
