Sebastian Vettel is preparing for his last weekend as a Formula 1 driver. The German starts the final race in Abu Dhabi, in which he hopes to show once more what he is capable of. At the press conference, he talks to GPblog and others about his career.
Vettel's career had a lot of highlights. His best performances were with Red Bull Racing between 2010 and 2013. With the Austrian stable, he managed to win the world title four times in a row. However, Vettel also enjoyed success at other teams.
"I don't think it's fair to pick one moment," he reveals. "I have been lucky that there are so many moments to choose from, impossible to remember everything. The first will always stand out. I think every time had its highlights, I enjoyed the last two years as well even if there was nothing to celebrate. I learnt a lot and grew."
Vettel leaves F1 feeling good
So this weekend is his last time on the grid. Vettel let it be known that he is looking forward to that and that he does not fear the farewell. "I am aware of what's happening and I'm happy about it. I will see about the emotions. I guess it will be at some point a bit different. It does feel a little bit different today."
