Rain and thunderstorms throughout Grand Prix weekend in Brazil

The weather forecast does not bode well for the Grand Prix weekend in Brazil. Rain is scheduled for all three days, so teams and drivers will have to anticipate the changeable conditions well.

The Brazilian Grand Prix has had many historic races. The Interlagos circuit by itself can make for great race weekends, but when it rains it gives that little bit extra. So there was the phenomenal final round of the world championship in 2008 and Max Verstappen gave away another show in 2016.

Rain in Brazil

That rain looks set to fall again this weekend. According to Weather.com 27 degrees maximum and there is a 61 per cent chance of rain. Afternoon weather showers are additionally scheduled.

On Saturday, things don't look much better. On the day when the second free practice and Sprint are held, it will be one degree colder, thunderstorms will hang over the circuit and there is a 60 per cent chance of rain. On Sunday, the maximum temperature will be 28 degrees and the chance of rain is still 51 per cent.
