Max Verstappen has again been nominated for an award at this year's Autosport Awards. The Dutchman can also win with his team Red Bull Racing in 2022.

This year marks the 35th edition of the Autosport Awards, which will take place in London on Sunday 4th December. Readers can vote for different categories. Verstappen is nominated for the International Racing Driver of the Year award at British Autosport, along with rival Charles Leclerc, IndyCar champion Will Power and Formula E champion Stoffel Vandoorne. The Dutchman beat Leclerc in the title race this season. In 2021, Verstappen was also nominated for the International Racing Driver of the Year Award. He then beat title rival Lewis Hamilton.

Red Bull stands a chance with RB18

Red Bull has also been nominated for the Autosport Awards. The team has a chance to win the International Racing Car of the Year award. The RB18 will compete against Ferrari's F1-75, the BMW M4 GT3 and the Mercedes-EQ Silver Arrow 02 (Formula E car) of Vandoorne and Nyck de Vries.

Hamilton, Lando Norris, George Russell and Tom Blomqvist compete for the award for British Competition Driver of the Year. Alfa Romeo driver Zhou Guanyu and likely future Wiliams driver Logan Sargeant are in with a chance of winning Rookie of the Year.
