Red Bull Racing are the F1 world champion among the constructors in 2022. The team of Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez scored enough points at the United States Grand Prix to be unbeatable.

The season started badly for Red Bull. In Bahrain, both Red Bull cars failed and in Australia, Verstappen was once again on the side of the track with his RB18. The reigning world champion was angry but also saw that Adrian Newey's car was very fast indeed. Once Red Bull also managed to turn it around, competitors often did not see Verstappen again.

Red Bull are champions

In Japan, Verstappen already captured his second world title in a row, but now Red Bull Racing has also secured its first constructors' title since 2013. In 2021, it had to leave that title to Mercedes, but Christian Horner's men were supreme in 2022. For instance, it already scored a one-two in five Grands Prix and never won so many races in one season.

With three races left on the 2022 Formula 1 calendar, Ferrari and Mercedes cannot overtake the Milton Keynes-based team, making the constructors' title truly secure. Red Bull can now set its sights on 2023, where it hopes to match these successes. One advantage for Red Bull and Verstappen: little changes to the regulations.
