Jamie Chadwick managed to win the W Series in 2019, 2021 and 2022. The 24-year-old Brit is therefore ready for the next step and may embark on an American adventure, although she revealed to Sky Sports that nothing is certain for now.

The driver has previously let it be known that she would love to get into Formula 1 one day. Just last month, for instance, she stated that her goal is to reach the motorsport class within five years, but she apparently needs more experience to do so.

"Nothing is confirmed yet, but I did the test with the Andretti team, and it was awesome," Chadwick revealed. "I think the Indy Lights, IndyCar route - the road to Indy it's called - is really cool for young drivers. It's a big opportunity over there. It's looking interesting, but nothing confirmed yet."

Chadwick is looking forward to embarking on the next phase of her career. "It's nice to now be in a position that I'm looking really positively at these options going forwards. Nothing confirmed, but I'm really looking forward to trying to get things nailed in for the next year."

W Series season suddenly ended

Due to the financial situation, the organisation decided to end the W Series earlier this calendar year. At the time, Chadwick was 50 points ahead of Beitske Visser who finished second. Next season, the hope is that the female motorsport class will be able to go ahead again.
