- GPblog.com
The start of the Singapore Grand Prix has been postponed due to heavy rain. It is pouring down on the Marina Bay Street Circuit and so it is already certain that it will not be possible to start at the scheduled time.
Singapore GP start postponed
The start will be delayed by at least half an hour. Currently, there is severe weather at the circuit and even if it stops soon, it is unlikely that driving will be possible for the time being. This is because on some parts of the circuit, water remains for a long time due to the new asphalt. It is therefore possible that the start will be delayed further, but it is certain that the race will not start before 20:30 local time.
