Sainz praises former teammate: 'Verstappen is having a ten out of ten year'

Carlos Sainz says he is not entirely satisfied with his current season at Ferrari. The Spaniard has been on the podium six times already, including once on the top step. Sainz is looking at Red Bull Racing in this regard. Indeed, the Austrian team is hardly making any mistakes in 2022.
Although 2022 brought many good moments so far, Sainz is not happy with how his season is going. He describes his season as a rollercoaster with many ups and downs. "It’s been hard to get rhythm and a run of good results in the season, there have been reliability issues and it’s that consistency that can lead you into a fight for the title," Sainz said in conversation with Agencia EFE.
Taking example from Red Bull
Max Verstappen is the current world championship leader and appears to be on his way to his second title. Sainz praised Verstappen for his great season. "Verstappen is having a ten out of ten year but Red Bull is also not making any mistakes. Neither in their strategy nor in the times they are required to make important decisions," said the Ferrari driver.
For example, Verstappen's grid penalties were taken in Belgium and Italy, at circuits where Red Bull knew they would have the fastest car. Verstappen's strong run, which saw him win the last five Grands Prix, means he could be champion as early as the next Grand Prix in Singapore.
