Russell calls Verstappen class of his own during Dutch GP Qualifying

George Russell managed to secure a sixth starting position on Saturday afternoon. While the Briton hopes he can fight for a podium place during Sunday's race, he says in conversation with Viaplay that it is seemingly impossible to compete with Max Verstappen.
Verstappen headed to Zandvoort with a commanding lead and showed what he is capable of during qualifying. The reigning world champion had to pull out all the stops at the end of qualifying to beat the competition and eventually succeeded.
Russell was quite impressed by Verstappen's performance. While he does think he can make things difficult for Sergio Perez in the race, he does not expect to be able to do so with Verstappen. "Ferrari and Checo yes, Max no," Russell is adamant. "I think he is in a bit of a league on his own right now."
Russell remains combative during Dutch GP
Lewis Hamilton's teammate, who finished fourth, revealed in the interview that he felt there was more to qualifying. Despite this he is trying to keep a cool head and is looking forward to Sunday's race with confidence.
