FIA focuses on four goals
According to the organisation, the new regulations bring four important goals. Firstly, for the FIA it is important to keep spectacle on the track, so the power sources will deliver comparable performance to the current engines. In addition, the use of electric power will increase to fifty per cent, while for renewable fuel this will be as much as one hundred per cent.
Financial sustainability and attractiveness for engine suppliers are also high on the FIA's list. With these four elements, the organisation hopes to take a new step in the further growth of the motorsport class.
