Full results | Verstappen shows Perez who is the boss

Max Verstappen can add 25 points in the battle for the title. Charles Leclerc falls back further in the championship after his crash into the wall. The Mercedes drivers also do good business with a double podium finish.
Verstappen crossed the line first after a trouble-free race. Leclerc's retirement meant the Red Bull driver did not have to put pressure on another car, allowing him to focus on his own race and tyres. Sergio Perez let up with a P4. George Russell was able to overtake him in the closing stages of the race, as the Mexican failed to pay attention during the safety car restart.
Lewis Hamilton secured his best result of the season with second place. Carlos Sainz managed to come back from the back of the grid to P5 and also took home the fastest race lap. The Spaniard received a five-second time penalty for causing an unsafe release in the pit lane. The Alpine and McLaren drivers all take points for their team, while Lance Stroll completes the top ten.
