For a while, it seemed that only Charles Leclerc would have to go to the stewards, but shortly afterwards the FIA announced that Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton would also have to answer. They were accused of not following instructions regarding parc fermé. The stewards decided to settle the matter with a €10,000 suspended fine for each driver.

The FIA has stated several times in recent weeks that driver's physios are not yet allowed to get close to the drivers in parc fermé. This is only allowed when the drivers have been weighed and are in the cooldown room. In Austria Verstappen, Leclerc and Hamilton together with their physios went wrong with this.

If the drivers commit the same offence again this season they will be punished with a fine of 10,000 euros. The FIA therefore saw what happened at the Red Bull Ring after the race as the very last warning.
