Ahead of the British Grand Prix , Max Verstappen does not want to look back too long on 2021. The Dutchman is often asked about last season's crash, but says he has no ill feelings about it.

The British GP was a tipping point in the title race in 2021. Verstappen entered that race with a 32-point lead and had won four of the last five races. However, a duel with Lewis Hamilton ended painfully for Verstappen. The Dutchman ended up in the wall, where his rival took victory despite a penalty for the incident.

When GP Racing asked Verstappen about that moment, the Dutchman admitted it was not a good one. However, as before, Verstappen also explains that he loves this circuit. He therefore has no bad feelings about what happened last season and can easily put it behind him. '' You have to deal with it,'' the Red Bull driver is clear.

Verstappen has a bigger margin in the championship this time ahead of the race at Silverstone. The reigning world champion is defending a 46-point lead over Sergio Perez and 49 over Charles Leclerc. Any retirement would therefore hurt Verstappen less now than it did a year ago.
