Red Bull Racing is proud to present the new design by Adrian Newey. The RB17 is a brand new Hypercar with an F1 engine in the back of the car.

Red Bull's new gem

In 2021 Red Bull Racing presented the RB16B and skipped the RB17 in 2022. The 2021 F1 car was in fact a minor upgrade from the RB16, so one name was skipped. However, that title is now being used for a new Hypercar presented by the team.

"The RB17 marks an important milestone in the evolution of Red Bull Advanced Technologies, now fully capable of creating and manufacturing a series production car at our Red Bull Technology Campus. Further, the RB17 marks the first time that a car wearing the Red Bull brand has been available to collectors," Christian Horner noted in the press release.

Proud Newey

''The RB17 distills everything we know about creating championship-winning Formula One cars into a package that delivers extreme levels of performance in a two-seat track car. Driven by our passion for performance at every level, the RB17 pushes design and technical boundaries far beyond what has been previously available to enthusiasts and collectors," said Newey.

Newey's new car is powered by a V8 hybrid engine with more than 1,100bhp. This makes the sports car a derivative of Red Bull's F1 car and the RB17 is also equipped with the latest ground effect upgrades. It's a price worth paying, though, as the car, which will be produced from 2025, is priced from £5 million (€5.79 million) upwards.
