Norris talks about upgrades at Silverstone: 'A few things in the pipeline'

Lando Norris has revealed that McLaren will bring upgrades to the MCL36 at Silverstone. The team is keen to perform well at their home track.
After a difficult weekend in Canada, where Norris and teammate Daniel Ricciardo scored zero points, McLaren will make changes to the car at Silverstone. McLaren are not the only team with upgrades for the upcoming race. Aston Martin and Mercedes, among others, will also come with changes. In terms of logistics, it is easy for the teams to bring new parts to the circuit, as many teams are based in Britain.
Norris hopes the upgrades will improve performance. The Brit is also excited about seeing his fans at his home circuit. "We will do our utmost to turn around our Canada form. We have a few things in the pipeline for Silverstone and I cannot wait to get out there, in front of our home fans," Norris wrote in his column for the Telegraph.
Norris looking forward to home race
"Just the drive into Silverstone is like nothing else, all that positive energy, from the marshals on the gates when you first arrive in the morning, to the fans waving union flags or wearing McLaren colours. You feed off the support. It makes a massive difference.”
McLaren are fourth in the Constructors' Championship, but after Alpine's double points finish, the gap is getting closer. So the upgrades at Silverstone will be important, but team boss Andreas Seidl has revealed that there will only be minor changes in 2022.
