Horner remains calm under fierce statements from Jos Verstappen

Christian Horner doesn't care about Jos Verstappen's criticism of Red Bull Racing a week and a half ago. According to the father of Max Verstappen the Austrians took the wrong decision in Monaco, but Horner does not recognize this opinion.
Sergio Perez won partly because of a clever undercut in Monaco. Jos stated after the weekend that Verstappen should have received this undercut, however, so that he would have been closer to victory. This, in turn, was important for the battle in the world championship, according to him.
"Dad's and fathers are never totally objective," Horner let Sky Sports know about this. "I don't know what you are like as a racing dad [Damon Hill] but Jos does not have the information that we have throughout the race and if we had not pitted he [Max] would have come out behind George."
Horner has understanding for Jos' statements
The Red Bull team boss stresses that he is not angry, however. "I think Jos is his own person. He, of course, has opinions and that is absolutely fine, and in reality, for us it was slightly different. It's no issue!" After the weekend, Red Bull extended Perez's contract, keeping the Mexican tied to the racing stable for longer.
