Hamilton in trouble: 'He can't take out his nose ring'

Lewis Hamilton and the FIA are still at loggerheads over the wearing of jewelery and piercings. The British driver is still refusing to part with his nose piercing, among other things, so the FIA seems to be back in charge. According to Ted Kravitz, the situation could derail considerably.
"He’s taken his earrings out but he can’t take out his nose ring," Kravitz explained the situation in conversation with Sky Sports. "We thought he was going to have minor surgery to take out the nose rings because the FIA have decided to get tough."
FIA and Hamilton continue to battle
Hamilton was told by the FIA this week that he still has some time to remove his piercings. Thus, he would not have to undergo surgery until after the Barcelona GP, which is scheduled in just under two weeks. However, the Briton seems to refuse to agree to this.
Since the final race of last season in Abu Dhabi, the two parties are already not friends of each other. The current situation only lets Hamilton and the FIA drift further apart. For the credibility of the organisation, the FIA seems unable to agree with the arguments of the seven-time world champion. "The war between Hamilton and the FIA continues," Kravitz said.
