Verstappen complains about Red Bull: 'We could have done a lot more today'

The hydraulic problems that kept Max Verstappen sidelined during FP2 are causing annoyance for the reigning world champion. Verstappen lost precious time on an unfamiliar track, starting the second day with a deficit.
Watching himself
First a gearbox change, then the hydraulics. Red Bull Racing have had better starts to a Grand Prix weekend. "We just have to look at ourselves. I don't care what happens on the track with red flags... we could have done a lot more today," grumbled the Dutchman at Sky Sports after the messy first day.
Miami is an unwritten page for everyone. Ferrari and Mercedes have already managed to gather important information. Possibly Red Bull is now hobbling along behind them. Especially in the title race and after Verstappen's two DNFs this season, it's anything but an ideal situation.
Catching up
Understandably, then, Verstappen was irritated. "Of course, I'll try to catch up but it's just not ideal, everyone is more into their running. Not only that, we have no information on the car and what we have to do, so yeah it's extremely painful."
