'Verstappen is just a bit more aggressive than Leclerc'

Gerhard Berger believes that Charles Leclerc has made a good impression during the first races, but also believes that Max Verstappen as a driver is just that little bit more aggressive.
The battle for the world championship in 2022 seems to be between Leclerc and Verstappen. The Monegasque and the Dutchman each won two races and have already fought several duels with each other. Verstappen emerged as the winner of the last duel in Imola, but Leclerc is at the top of the championship.
Verstappen is more aggressive
At ServusTV's Sport und Talk, Berger praises Leclerc. He states that he always saw that Leclerc would be able to perform with a good car and now that appears to be true. Yet Berger also places a comment. ''It seems that Leclerc is very good, but in duels you see that Max is even more aggressive. Charles is a good driver, but now he has to start performing,'' says the Austrian.
In addition to an aggressive Verstappen, the former F1 driver sees another advantage for Red Bull Racing, even if it hasn't worked out so well this year with the various dropouts. ''When the tires work they are very fast. Sergio Perez has taken a step forward, but does take his place behind Max,'' Berger concludes.
