Helmut Marko is a happy man. Red Bull Racing grabbed its first one-two since 2016 at the Imola Grand Prix. With the maximum number of points, Max Verstappen is slowly catching up with Charles Leclerc in the championship, and Sergio Perez is also grabbing important points.

"It was an optimal weekend with the maximum number of points," celebrates Helmut Marko to Servus TV. Verstappen managed to grab a Grand Slam this weekend. Perez also proved himself again with a second place. The Mexican managed to keep Charles Leclerc behind him throughout the race.

Due to the sprint race, there was only one free practice session this weekend in which the teams were allowed to tinker with the car. Due to Friday's qualifying, Saturday's second free practice doesn't represent much, but still Red Bull took the risk of introducing important aerodynamic upgrades.

Nervous race for Red Bull

"The race itself was nerve-wracking for us. It didn't want to stop, but I think you could see with Max that he wasn't stressed at all, it was very easy for him. It paid off that we came up with upgrades despite only one practice session. That's why our head of aerodynamics was on the podium. It's thanks to him that both upgrades worked so well," said Marko.
