Mick Schumacher suffered a major crash during qualifying for the Saudi Arabian. Haas has since confirmed that he is conscious and will be taken to the medical centre for monitoring.
Heavy crash for Schumacher
Schumacher was working on a fast lap in Q2 when he lost control of his Haas car and slammed hard into the wall. The footage caused shocked reactions, but Haas has since confirmed that he is conscious and out of the car.
As part of standard procedure, Schumacher has been taken to the medical centre for monitoring. A further visit to the hospital is likely to follow, given the high impact of the crash.

Update | Schumacher undergoing check-up in hospital
Guenther Steiner has confirmed that Schumacher has no visible injuries and that the German has spoken to his mother. French Canal+ spoke to Schumacher's doctor, who said he is standing up and can talk. He expects the Haas driver to be able to attend tomorrow's race after a check-up at the hospital.
