Netflix will come out with the new season of Drive to Survive on Friday, which will feature the entire 2021 season up close. Max Verstappen previously refused to actively participate in the series and he says that is not going to change anytime soon, he told De Telegraaf.

The Dutchman is not a fan of the series at all. According to the reigning World Champion, the makers completely dramatize the racing year, so he does not want to participate in the new season either. "My thoughts on this are not going to change," Verstappen emphasised in the interview.

"I'm very down-to-earth as a person," he continued. "I like facts, that's why this series is not my thing. I might go and watch it, but only to see how they have edited everything together again nicely over the top."

Verstappen happy with statement from F1 drivers

While Verstappen worked hard behind the scenes on his new car, the Dutchman also had time to set up a statement with his fellow drivers against the war in Ukraine. Earlier in the day, the Dutchman said he was proud of the unity of the drivers.
