Max Verstappen has signed a new contract with Red Bull Racing that will keep him with the Austrian team until 2028. The Dutchman sees no other place he would like to work.

Deal with Red Bull Racing

Verstappen and Red Bull Racing made no secret of the fact this winter that they wanted to extend the contract that ran until 2023. With the world title being won in 2021, the Verstappens are at peace and can now enjoy themselves above all. The Dutchman wants to do that with the team that has given him every opportunity.

''Even after winning the world title, my ambition is still to win races and titles. Now we don't have to think about it (the contract), we know how long the contract lasts and we can just continue working,'' Verstappen said in a video published by Red Bull Racing.

Verstappen is going to enjoy it

For Verstappen, however, winning races is not priority number one now that he already has the world title in his pocket. ''Besides, it's not only about winning and fighting for world title, but it's also important that you have a good time and have fun. That you really enjoy your time in Formula 1.''

When asked why he prefers Red Bull Racing to other teams, he remains correct: ''It's hard to say anything about the other teams, because I've never been in them, but I feel very good with this team and enjoy working with the people. Especially after winning the title last year, for me it is the best team out there'', concludes the 24-year-old driver.
