Albon happy with Williams livery: "Looks like a fast car"

Alexander Albon already went from Toro Rosso to Red Bull Racing in 2019, but now the driver will make his debut at Williams alongside teammate Nicholas Latifi. The former DTM driver is all set for this new adventure after his year on the sidelines.
"As the guys here said, it's 'clean' and the car looks cool. It looks like a fast racing car," commented the British Thai after revealing the livery of the FW44.
Reliability and track time important
Albon then explains what Williams will need in 2022 to be able to connect with the midfield. "We don’t have many days before our first race and so we quickly need to understand which areas of the car are strong and where we need to make improvements," he said.
Because he was not an F1 driver last year, it will take some getting used to when he gets into the car soon. "It has been an even longer break for me. A lot of training has gone into it, to make sure I hit the ground running. We spent a lot of days in the simulator. We think we have a good idea of how the car is going to feel," he concluded after unveiling the 2022 car.
