Haas VF22: these are the changes to the car
- GPblog.com
Haas worked hard behind the scenes last year on the car for 2022. The VF22 should enable the team to get back into the middle of the driver field in the future. What are the main changes compared to 2021?
The new regulations mean that the cars of 2022 will look completely different from those of recent years. The changes should enable drivers in the coming years to more easily stay close to their predecessor and thus encourage overtaking.
These changes can also be found in the car of Haas. For example, we see that the car's rear wing has been redesigned and its underfloor is incomparable to last calendar year's version. In addition, the car features a front wing that looks simpler than in 2021.
Collaboration with Ferrari must ensure successes
Nikita Mazepin and Mick Schumacher will again take to the track in the new year with a Ferrari engine in their car. The American racing team has great confidence in the collaboration with Ferrari. Technical director Simone Resta, who made the switch from Ferrari, has to add strength to the ambitions and hopes that the VF22 will be the starting signal for successful seasons.
