First images from the Ferrari test at Fiorano

Ferrari held its first day of testing at Fiorano on Tuesday. There was some turmoil over the test last week, but Robert Shwartzman was able to make his first meters of the season undisturbed on Tuesday.
Testing is not possible in Formula 1 with the cars for the new season. Only the designated test days in Barcelona and Bahrain are for that, but that doesn't stop the teams from still testing. This is mainly a way to get the drivers fit and sharp again prior to the season.
Ferrari in action
With an old car nothing can be done to the setup, nothing can be learned from the tires and also the engine is an old specification. Nevertheless, Ferrari chose to organize a four-day test week at its own Fiorano circuit. There Shwartzman, Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz will be in action for the team.
After some controversy earlier this week, the team has chosen to drive the 2018 SF71H. The Italian team is said to be concerned about the regulations. The 2021 car is officially not allowed to be used because the car has to be at least a year old, but with completely new regulations around the corner you can understand the confusion at Ferrari.
