Red Bull Racing has announced a new partnership. The team did so with the following striking slogan: 'Wolf to protect team from 2022'. Given the feud with rival Toto Wolff of Mercedes, the announcement attracted some attention, but fans need not worry: it is a cybersecurity company called Arctic Wolf.

Red Bull is joining forces with Arctic Wolf and will use the company's services to improve its own data protection during Grand Prix weekends.

"The US company will become the Team’s official cybersecurity partner and will implement its category-defining cybersecurity products across the team’s existing technology and security infrastructure," the press release reads.

Red Bull Racing team boss Christian Horner says he is delighted with the company's arrival as a team partner. "Modern Formula 1 is driven by data almost as much as it is by the incredible athletes behind the wheel," the Brit said in his statement. "Every day protecting the competitive edge we work so hard to achieve is crucially important."
