Verstappen in tears: "Those are moments you will never forget"

Max Verstappen rarely shows his emotional side like he did after winning his very first Formula 1 world title. Also in the big interview with Olav Mol for Ziggo Sport the emotions come up again when seeing the images of that moment. "Those are moments you are never going to forget in your life", says the Dutchman with tears in his eyes.
"Where I got the most out of it was the win in Austin. We shouldn't have won there," Verstappen admitted. Yet the Red Bull Racing driver started from pole and won the race thanks to his team's superior strategy, in which he also played a major part.
Most special wins for Verstappen
The Dutchman felt there were more victories that were just a little bit more special. "Of course I liked Monaco, but the race was very boring," he said of his victory at the traditional Monte Carlo circuit.
"Besides that, those two races in Austria that we won dominantly," he continues. "And of course Zandvoort." He goes on to say that the pressure was clearly felt by him in Zandvoort and he did cross the finish line with a relieved feeling.
Yet he tried not to get carried away in the revelry at that moment. "Of course I was very happy with that victory at the time, but I can enjoy it more now than at the time."
