Max Verstappen has the opportunity to win the world championship at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix on Sunday afternoon. It reminds Alain Prost of his time in Formula 1 when he competed against Ayrton Senna. He tells this in conversation with The Telegraph.

The Dutchman has frequently sought out the grey areas of Formula 1 regulations this season. He has alternated brilliant overtaking actions with questionable moments, in which the FIA was not afraid to hand out a penalty. Prost enjoyed the moments and knows better than anyone what it takes to win the world title.

"We know Verstappen drives aggressively, that's his style," Prost stated, leaving his thoughts on whether Verstappen went too far with his actions very vague. "I would never comment on his aggression, but I had similar problems with Senna."

FIA puts Mercedes and Red Bull on edge

The FIA have clearly communicated this week what happens when either driver shows unsportsmanlike behaviour. In the past it has happened several times where drivers have decided to crash into their rivals, forcing them each off the track, in order to secure victtory. The organisation is authorised to deduct points if something similar happens in Abu Dhabi.
