Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen go into the final race in Abu Dhabi with an equal number of points in the world championship. While the Brit has the most life experience with his seven world titles, David Coulthard does not rule out Verstappen grabbing the world title.

The former Formula 1 driver, who can be admired at Dutch Viaplay next season, is impressed with the season of Verstappen and Hamilton. Both drivers are constantly balancing each other this season and see the tension increase every week. The leaders of the world championship made it a spectacle in Saudi Arabia.

Hamilton knows better than anyone what it's like to fight for the world title, but according to Coulthard that doesn't have to mean that he automatically wins the world championship. "If you're good enough, you're old enough," he said in conversation with Formule1.nl. "Okay, Max doesn't have as much life experience as Lewis, but he does have his father Jos who has taught him a lot from a young age and taught him a lot."

Verstappen faces challenge

At 24 years old, Verstappen still has plenty of years ahead of him. But that won't stop him from winning this weekend. At the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, Verstappen finished second behind Hamilton.
